iPad Repair in Nairobi

An iPad is a harder repair than a phone, and a lot of the damage we see is damage caused by a previous repair. The glass is bonded to the frame, the battery is glued down, and the panel cracks if it is heated wrongly or levered in the wrong place. We take the time it needs.

We are at Corner House on Kimathi Street in the Nairobi CBD, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm, and we collect and deliver across Nairobi.

What we repair

Screen and digitiser replacement

On most iPads the glass you touch and the display underneath are separate parts. Sometimes only the glass is broken and the display is fine, which is a cheaper repair. We check which it is before quoting, rather than replacing both by default.

Battery replacement

iPad batteries are large, glued in place and sit directly under the screen. If your iPad runs for an hour, will not hold charge overnight, or the screen has started to bulge, bring it in sooner rather than later. A swelling battery lifts the display and cracks it.

Charging port repair

Loose charging, charging only when the cable is held at an angle, or no charging at all. Often it is a blocked port. When it is the port itself, we replace it.

Water damage and no power

If it went into water or simply will not turn on, we open it, clean the board and find out what is actually wrong. You get an honest answer, including when the answer is that it is not worth fixing.

Send the model code before you travel

iPads with similar names use different parts across years and revisions, so the name alone is not enough to quote from. Turn the iPad over and send us the A-number printed on the back, something like A2602, and we will confirm the part and the price before you come in.

How a repair works here

  1. Tell us what the iPad is doing.
  2. We open it, diagnose it and give you a price.
  3. You approve before any part is fitted.
  4. You check it works before you pay.
